To some car dealers, "running a hose" over a used car and putting a for sale sign in the window is all they need to do to prepare your next vehicle, and unfortunately, they are within the legal requirements of  BC law. 

 There is no law that requires a dealer to perform a safety inspection on a used vehicle .
